The Foyle MEP said: “I am taking a delegation to the European Parliament this week to raise awareness of the legacy of the conflict in the north and the continuing campaign for truth and justice.

“The delegation will include relatives who have lost loved ones as a result of state violence and collusion and Sinn Féin representatives.

“There will be representatives from campaigns on the Ballymurphy massacre, the Loughinisland massacre, the New Lodge Six, the McGurk’s Bar massacre, Kelly’s Bar massacre, Bloody Sunday, as well as relatives of Pat Finucane and Aidan McAnespie.

“While at the European Parliament the delegation will meet MEPs from across Europe, representatives from the Executive office in Brussels, and the Irish permanent representative to the EU.

“There will also be a screening of The Ballymurphy Precedent in the European Parliament.

“Sinn Féin will continue to support relatives of victims of state violence in their campaign for truth and justice,” she added.
