Two people treated in Altnagelvin Hospital after four vehicle crash

TWO people have been taken to hospital following a four vehicle crash in Derry.

Police and the NI Ambulance Service attended the scene on Buncrana Road

A NIAS spokesperson confirmed that they responded to a call shortly before 12 pm.

Two A&E crews, one rapid response vehicle and one paramedic officer were dispatched to the incident.

Following assessment and treatment at the scene by the crew, two patients were taken to Altnagelvin Hospital for further treatment.

The road, which was closed between Benview Estate and Whitehouse Roundabout, later reopened to traffic.
