BEN Fisk has confirmed he will not be returning to Derry City for the 2019 campaign – confirming the news on social media.

The Canadian was brought to Foyleside for the second half of last season by Kenny Shiels following a recommendation by his son Dean, who played with Fisk at FC Edmonton.

1/2 Thanks to everyone at @derrycityfc and in the city of Derry as a whole for making us feel at home here since day one. Special thank you as well to Dean and Kenny Shiels for bringing me over and giving me the chance to represent this club and city. pic.twitter.com/D5nu3Hu4pS

2/2 I’ll remember my time here very fondly, winning the League Cup and getting my first taste of Europa League football.

It’s time for a new adventure but I wish the club all the best moving forward!! pic.twitter.com/OkjCdCNjG0
