SINN Féin Shantallow representative Neil McLaughlin is encouraging participation in the Pink Panthers male cancer awareness sevent at 11 am Monday November 12th in the Shantallow Community Centre.

Neil McLaughlin said: “The Pink Panthers Cancer Support Group were set up to give support to men and their families in the fight against cancer.

“They know only too well the impact a diagnosis of cancer can have on a person as well their family and friends who walk the journey of treatments and recovery alongside them.

“Whilst initially the group focused on cancer awareness it is now more focused on the over-all health and lifestyle of the individual.

“I encourage any one concerned about their well-being or even just in accessing advice on a healthier lifestyle to come along to the Shantallow Community Centre on Monday as part of the Movember Male Cancer Awareness programme.”
