THE Alley Theatre in Strabane will host a series of workshops led byr local artist Leona Devine during the month of October with the first one taking place this weekend.
The workshops will take place on Saturday 6th, 13th & 20th October from 10am – 1pm where participants will have the opportunity to imaginatively create and personalise their very own cottage.
Leona will demonstrate the various decorative techniques and stages of construction including firing, staining and glazing.
Leona is a ceramic artist, based outside Claudy.
Her work is available for sale in a range of galleries and shops across the North and South of Ireland.
Leona has worked with various organisations, schools, community centres, Day Care centres and youth Clubs to create ceramics, glass painting, soft sculpture, textile jewellery making, painting with watercolours/ acrylics, willow charcoal drawing as well as general arts and crafts.
Come along and join in with this fun and creative workshop. Cost £40 with all materials provided.
