RTE’s Up For The Match coming to Strabane next week

STRABANE Sigersons GAA have announced that RTE’s Up For The Match is coming to Strabane next week.

It is part of the build up before the All Ireland on Sunday, September 2 between Mickey Harte’s Tyrone and Dublin at Croke Park.

The club says on its Facebook page: “Some great news to bring everyone.

“We have been contacted by the RTÉ programme ‘Up For the Match’ and they have informed us that they are coming to Strabane on Thursday 23rd August @ 4pm to shoot a piece for the TV programme which will be aired on Saturday 1st September.

“The fantastic effort by everyone who dressed up ‘The Tinnies” has been seen all over Ireland and will now be shown on ‘Up for the Match’ the night before the All Ireland Final.

“Everyone is welcome to join what will be a great event – make sure you wear your Tyrone gear!”
