TO mark the 400th anniversary of the historic City Walls, hundreds of people across the region answered a call this evening by Derry City and Strabane District Council to come out of their coven to take part in the official launch of this year’s Halloween celebrations.

Witches across Derry and Strabane donned their best hats and capes and joined officials from the Council to take part in a celebratory photocall to mark the start of our legenderry Halloween promotional campaign.

Everyone taking part gathered in costume at Guildhall Square this evening, Thursday, August 16 at 6.00 pm.

Well done to everyone who took part this evening!

It was a spooktacular event!
