TO mark the 400th anniversary of the historic City Walls, Derry City and Strabane District Council is putting a call out to witches across the region to come out of their coven to take part in the official launch of this year’s Halloween celebrations.
Witches across Derry and Strabane are being urged to don their best witches hat and cape and join officials from the Council to take part in a celebratory photocall to mark the start of our legenderry Halloween promotional campaign.
Everyone taking part is asked to come along in costume and to gather in Guildhall Square tomorrow Thursday, August 16 at 6.00 pm.
A council spokesperson said: “Make sure to capture your costume using our Snapchat Geofilter and send them to us ‘DerryHalloween’.
“Let’s see who’s the wickedest witch on the Walls!”
