Police appeal after Derry-reg Ford people carrier stolen

POLICE in Strabane are appealing for information about the theft of a motor vehicle.

Investigating officers believe it was stolen sometime between 10.30 pm on Sunday, August 5 and 3.30 am on Monday, August 6.

PSNI Strabane say on its Facebook page: “We are currently investigating the theft of a silver Ford Galaxy vehicle registration VUI 4450 from the area of Priests Lane, Castlederg.

“We would appeal for anyone who has sighted this vehicle, noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area or anyone with CCTV within the area of Priests Lane/Lurganbouy Road to make contact with us.

“If you have any information which may assist us please contact 101 and quote Reference number 673 – 06/08/18 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 08000555111

“Any information is greatly appreciated…thank you!!”
