The 20th annual Rathmullan Community Festival is going to be one to remember this weekend from August 3rd-6th.

A packed programme has been unveiled for the next week in the Donegal seaside town, as pre-festival events are happening from Friday 27th July 2018.

Brilliant bands, street entertainers, competitions and culture events are taking place across the town. There will be activities for all ages and lots of fun things for the kids to see and do.

The official opening takes place on Friday 3rd August with a parade of floats led by the Ramelton Marching Band, followed by music from the Knotty Pine Band.

Top acts will be taking to the stage through Saturday, Sunday and Monday, including the Fureys, the Mindbenders and the Whistling Donkeys.

The Ward Sisters, the James Peake experience and Tyrone singer/songwriter Conleth Mc Geary join the Saturday night line-up. Conleth is widely known for his residency in Liverpool and sell-out O2 show. His Irish tour promises to be a real spectacle, and Rathmullan Festival are delighted to have Conleth on the stage.

Excitement is building too for the return of the Big Rose ‘male’ beauty contest on Sunday!

An amazing Fireworks Display will light up the Swilly on Sunday night to round off a wonderful weekend.

The big Regatta commences on Monday 6th August. Big crowds are expected to visit for the spectacle and all the festivities of this wonderful weekend.

Rathmullan will certainly be the place to be next week. Check out the line-up timetables below to plan your visit:
