Families are invited to make the most of this glorious spell of weather with Oakfield Park’s Teddy Bear’s Picnic, which returns to the Co. Donegal park tomorrow, Tuesday, 3rd July.

This is one of the park’s most popular summer events and sold out last month.

Oakfield Park’s Teddy Bear’s Picnic takes place tomorrow, Tuesday, 3rd July.

Children are invited to bring their favourite teddy and check into the Teddy Hospital, where they’ll meet the Oakfield Teddy and his friends. Families can also explore the park’s 100-acre wood, visit the Faerie tree and navigate their way around the new hedge maze, which is proving a real treat with visitors to the park this summer.

Children can check into the Teddy Hospital and meet the Oakfield Teddy and his friends.

The Teddy Bear’s Picnic promises to be a great day for all the family with train rides, music, crafts, free face-painting and teddy bear hunts in the park.

To make the most of the sunshine, this Teddy Bear’s Picnic will have a barbecue outside Buffers serving a selection of delicious food.

Families are also invited to bring a picnic to enjoy in the gardens or pre-prepared picnics can be ordered in advance – these can then be collected on the day from Oakfield Park’s Buffers Garden Restaurant.

For the first time, Oakfield Park will host a Barbecue outside Buffers’ Restaurant for the Teddy Bear’s Picnic.

Oakfield Park is open daily (June – August) from 11 – 6pm and the best and most efficient way to enjoy the park is to purchase an Annual Pass or Gold Pass. Entry to the Teddy Bear’s Picnic is FREE for Annual and Gold Pass holders. All summer long, Gold Pass holders receive VIP access to the park, unlimited train rides and complimentary gifts.
