Fantastic turn out for Strabane-Lifford Half Marathon

THE 2018 Strabane-Lifford has been hailed as another fantastic success story.

Weather conditions suited over 1,000 runners who took part in the event on Sunday, May 13.

The cross-border event is supported by Derry City and Strabane District Council with strong entries from Derry, Donegal and Tyrone.

Men’s catergory: top three males

1st Gerard Gallagher Finn Valley 1.13.42

2nd Ciaran McGonagle Letterkenny AC 1.15.19

3rd James Treanor 1.15.39

Women’s category: top three females

1. Claire McGuigan Lifford Strabane AC 1.22.08

2. Marina Murphy Derry Track Club 1.25.24

3. Denise Ward Foyle Valley AC 1.32.20
