A MAN wanted by police in Derry has appeared in court following a police investigation into alleged shoplifting.
PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “Yesterday officers from DC&S District Support Team/ Waterside NPT apprehended a 24 year male reported shoplifter.
“As a result, his vehicle was located, searched and seized accompanied by a quantity of suspected stolen goods.
“For his trouble, he received an overnight stay in Strand Road, a court visit to Bishop Street and a remand in custody.”
