Details have been circulated to traders by City Centre Initiative, which is the dedicated town centre management organisation for the city of Derry.

In a letter, CCI says: “Dear Trader,

“We wish to update you on some road closure notices which have been issued by the Department of Infrastructure for April/May 2018.

“The road closure notices have been issued for various works including resurfacing of the network, gas services.

“Where possible the work is being completed during the night.

“The road closures will be on Shipquay Street, Dungiven Road, Francis Street and Crescent Link.

“Traffic management systems will be in place as well as diversions. Pedestrian access will be available to businesses at all times, although there will be some parking restrictions in the vicinity of the works.

“Please be aware that construction sites are dangerous. Working areas will have warning signs in place to protect the public from any hazards.
