SINN Féin’S Elisha McCallion has met with representatives from nvest NI to discuss the future of business in the north west.

The Foyle MP outlined the Strategic Growth Plan for the north west which by 2032 will result in £3.4 Billion of capital expenditure, 15,100 additional jobs and £1.16 billion in additional GVA.

Elisha McCallion said:

“It is an important piece of my work to ensure that those who are tasked to sell the North across the world are familiar with the opportunities available in the north west region. The meeting was very useful and informative for Ms Conn.”

“We also discussed other projects I am involved with, such as working on a proposal which will see a vast number of local businesses travel to London as part of a trade mission during 2018.

“Over the past number of months I have been meeting with businesses and investors in London in an attempt to ensure a tangible outcome for businesses that take part.

“I want to make sure this mission is as inclusive as possible to motivate as many businesses as possible to take part.”
