LOVE IS NOT IN THE AIR FOR DERRY’S ‘BARNEY RUBBLE’ WHO TOOK ‘BETTY’S’ CAR WHILE SHE SLEPT

A DERRY motorist has a lot of making up to do to his partner after he was caught by police driving her car without her permission and driving her car without a licence.

PSNI Foyle take up the story on  its Facebook page: “If you have no licence or insurance please do not take your partner’s car without their permission and when they are sleeping 😴.

“Believe it or not this is what we had to remind Barney Rubble yesterday.

“Ballyarnett Npt 🚔 detected Barney yesterday at 4.45 pm and even though he fled into Co Donegal we had the matter resolved by 6 pm.

“Betty Rubble was happy with police but not so happy with Barney.

“Poor Barney’s reaction when he saw us coming out of Glenabbey told me he knew straight away that he was going to be in the dog house.

“With Valentines day 💞 just around the corner we know one boy with a lot of making up to do 😚.
