OPEN DAYS AT NORTH WEST REIGONAL COLLEGE FOR PART AND FULL TIME COURSES

NORTH West Regional College will this week hold Open Days at its three campuses in Derry, Limavady, and Strabane and on February, 6, 7 and  8.

The Open Days are a fantastic opportunity to discover more about the huge range of full and part
time courses available.

Members of staff will be on hand to take you through the numerous career options available – and
you can see around the college facilities yourself.

Prospective students can also take part in fun activities while finding out more about the excitement
of being a student in the North West.

At our Strand Road campus on February 7, have a go at being a radio presenter, step into a world of
virtual reality or get behind the lens in our media studios.

Our science labs will be open all day and visitors can learn the numerous career options available in
Science and Forensics, as well as take part in a simulated Crime Scene Investigation

Stop off at college’s impressive Fine Dining restaurant – The Flying Clipper – where you can watch
our award winning Chefs and Students in action.

At our Foyle Building, step inside our state of the art theatre where you can catch Performing Arts
students in class, before taking a tour of the music studios.

A number of the North West’s top employers from Trades and Apprenticeships will exhibit on Open
Day at our Campus in Springtown to provide details of job opportunities they have available
currently.

These include Heron Bros. Fleming, Apex, and MIM. Free buses will run from Strand Road
to Springtown every hour.

NWRC offers a huge number of courses ranging from Care and Health, Apprenticeships and
Traineeships, Art and Design; Administration; Business; Construction and the Built Environment;
Engineering; Hospitality and Catering; Media, Multimedia and Journalism; Music; Performing Arts;
Science; Sport and Leisure, Travel and Tourism; Computing and I.T., Early Years, Hairdressing and
Beauty Therapy, and Adult Learning.

North West Regional College will host Open Days at their campuses in Strabane (Derry Road) on
Tuesday, February 6 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Derry (Strand Road and Springtown) on
Wednesday, February 7 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Limavady (Main Street and Greystone) on
Thursday, February 8 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
