POLICE are jubilant after catching a disqualified motorist driving on Derry’s roads with no insurance and no licence.

He will now have another day in court driving driving whilst banned and faces a stint behind bars for thumbing his nose at the law.

It all started with a car polluting the atmosphere with a smoking exhaust…

PSNI Foyle’s Facebook page take up the rest of the story:

“Here in Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team ‍♂ we are usually a humble bunch. But the case I cracked last night surely puts me in the top 1% of elite crime fighters. See if you could have spotted the crimes ‍♂ ‍♀

“Driving  Skeoge Road and get stuck behind silver Audi billowing out smoke  like a forest fire  We pulled it over:

‍♂ Is this your car Sir?
‍♂ No
‍♂ Can you pull it forward a little?
‍♂ No, it’s just broke
‍♂ Do you have Insurance?
‍♂ I think so
‍♂ Can I see your driving licence?
‍♂ No
‍♂ Why
‍♂ I don’t have one
‍♂ Have you ever had one?
‍♂ No
‍♂ (Checks Police Database) It says here you are Disqualified from driving. Is that right?
‍♂ Yes
‍♂ What makes you think you might have insurance?
‍♂ (blank)
‍♂ Have you a Policy?
‍♂ No
‍♂ Does the car have a policy?
‍♂ No

“ Something here was just not stacking up. I summoned my 9 Years experience and it hit me like a flash ⚡️ “He’s Driving whilst Disqualified, Driving with No Insurance and Driving with No Licence!”

“He was clearly a Master Criminal but nothing gets past these eagle  eyes
