SINN Féin Education spokesperson Karen Mullan has encouraged parents to complete applications for pre-school places and primary school places for September 2018 in advance of the deadline this week.

The Foyle MLA said: “It’s time to apply for pre-school places and primary school places for September 2018.

“I would encourage all parents to complete their application ahead of this week’s deadline, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 12 noon.

“An Education Authority application form must be submitted for every child seeking a pre-school or primary school place in September 2018 with all preferences listed in order on this form.

“Details of centres which provide funded places and application forms can be found on the EA website www.eani.org.uk/admissions

“Oor application forms and guidance notes can be obtained from the principals of schools or the leaders of the centres in which you are interested in obtaining a place,” she added.
