COUNCIL ISSUES UPDATE ON BIN COLLECTIONS

DERRY City and Strabane District Council has today issued an update on bin collections throughout the city and district. 
It follows recent adverse weather conditions.

• Black bins which were not collected in rural areas last Thursday due to icy weather conditions, will be collected tomorrow, Wednesday, January 3rd 2018.

• Food caddies which were not collected on Monday (New Year’s Day), will be completed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 3rd 2018. Please leave out early for collection.

• Blue bins which were not collected on Monday (New Year’s Day), will be completed on Saturday, January 6th2018.

• Council appreciates the public’s patience in dealing with the backlog during the Christmas and New Year period.

• All scheduled bin collection services resume as normal from today, Tuesday, January 2nd 2018.
