‘AN Evening with Bette Midler’ featuring the fantastic Orla Mullan as the divine Miss M is coming to the The Alley Theatre, Strabane next Friday, November 24.

Written by local playwright Felicity McCall and directed by Kieran Griffiths, the piece is produced by The Playhouse Theatre in Derry and will tour Ireland during the month of November.

Featuring such smash hits as From a Distance and Wind beneath My Wings, this new music piece of theatre received standing ovations when it premiered at The Playhouse earlier this year.

Spotlight Prize nominee Orla Mullan’s screen credits include The Fall Season 2 (BBC), Emmerdale (ITV), Peter Kay’s Britain’s Got the Pop Factor (Channel 4), I’d Do Anything (BBC) and her theatre credits include work with Maxim Theatre, Stockholm, West Yorkshire Playhouse, The Landor, London and Welsh National Opera.

Felicity McCall is a local freelance writer with more than 20 published titles and five screenplay credits for film and television who was previously a career journalist with the BBC for two decades of the NI Conflict and remains an occasional broadcaster and actor.

The Playhouse production of ‘An Evening with Bette Midler’ will come to The Alley Theatre, Strabane on Friday 24 November at 8 pm.
