POLICE in Derry have issued a fresh warning today over more scammers trying to con the public out of money.
Yesterday, PSNI Foyle alerted the public to bogus calls from crooks pretending to be from the taxman.
Today, another scam has emerged, this time via email.
Police say on the Foyle Facebook page: “Folks, more email Scams purporting to be from TV Licensing & NatWest, I received an email today….do not get engage.”
If you receive any such email alert police on the 101 number.
And never give your bank account details to anyone either on the phone or via email.
