HALLOWE’EN celebrations in Derry came to a stunning conclusion last night after four days of festivities.

Tens of thousands of people lined the streets for a carnival which included some hair-raising costumes to mark ‘fright night’.

And at the end of the parade, the sky over the was lit up with a spectacular fireworks display on the banks of the River Foyle.

Derry City and Strabane District Council tweeted: “Fantastic finale to the four day @HalloweenDS with fireworks on the Foyle – no one does #Halloween like #Derry
