POLICE are investigating an assault at Main Street in Dungiven in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, October 15.
A man aged in his 30’s was taken to hospital following the assault where he remains, receiving treatment for injuries that are not thought to be life threatening at this time.
An 18 year old man has been arrested in connection to the investigation and is currently in custody assisting officers with their enquiries.
