HEROES, legends – and even villains – will invade the Foyle Arena in Derry on 28th & 29th October for a truly amazing Hallowe’en family spectacular.
The hugely popular ‘Invasion Heroes & Legends’ is to make a return to the city – this time bigger and better than before.
Superheroes, Stormtroopers, Daleks, Transformers and a host of characters from your favourite TV series and films will descend on the city in a show bursting with fun interactive activities, life-sized props and sets.
Fans of Star Wars, feverishly awaiting the release of ‘The Last Jedi’ in December (filmed on location in Malin Head), can meet Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers as well as learn how to defeat them at the Force Training Academy.
Superhero lovers will also get the chance to meet their friendly neighbourhood Spiderman, Superman, Transformers, the Ghostbusters, Harry Potter, enchanted princesses and many more characters of the silver screen and comics.
Ireland’s longest running costuming club, The Emerald Garrison, are excited about bringing the award-winning family show back to the city.
Martin Ryan, spokesperson for The Emerald Garrison, said: “We’re really delighted that ‘Invasion Heroes & Legends’ the largest unofficial fan event is making its return to Derry and will be part of the amazing Hallowe’en celebrations!
“This event will be even bigger and better than any of the previous shows, and will showcase lots more sets never seen before in Derry – including the amazing giant Snow Speeder Vehicle.
“With a host of new characters from your favourite TV series, films and comics, it’s a truly spectacular show not to be missed by fans and families.”
The ‘Invasion Heroes & Legends’ show will take from 10am – 12.45pm and 2pm – 5pm will take place on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th October in the Foyle Arena.
