POLICE APPEAL OVER LUNCHTIME HIT-AND-RUN IN EGLINTON

POLICE in Derry are appealing for information over a hit-and-run accident two days ago.

A PSNI Foyle spokesperson said: “Local Policing Team 4 at Strand Road are currently investigating a hit and run road traffic collision that occurred on Eglinton’s Main Street at the junction with Millpath on Sunday, September 24 at approximately 1.10 pm.

“Police would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed this.

“They would also like to speak to the driver of a Grey Citreon Zsara Picasso that may have been involved.

“Please contact Police on 101 and quote CCS787 of 24th September 2017.”
