THE WESTERN Trust has announced that there will be some minor disruption from today for patients attending the Emergency Department at Altnagelvin Hospital.

A Trust spokesperson said: “We are making some improvements to the triage and treatment rooms in our Emergency Department at Altnagelvin Hospital.

“This work will commence today, Monday, September 25 and is likely to continue until the first week of December 2017.

“There will be no major disruption, however, patients may notice some construction noise when in the waiting area and whilst receiving treatment.

“We appreciate your patience whilst we make these improvements.”
