THE PSNI Derry have confirmed they are investigating a report of a man was seen yesterday armed with a knife.
The incident was reported to police by the public after the was spotted with the weapon at Shantallow’s Racecourse Road area on Thursday, August 3.
As a result, police patrols went to the area but the man could not be located.
As enquiries continue, police have urged anyone with information to contact officers at Strand Road on the 101 number.
