DETECTIVES have charged a 29 year old man with a number of drugs related offences including possessing class A, class B and Class C controlled drugs.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court later today, Tuesday, June 27.
As is normal procedure the charges are reviewed by the PPS.
Detective Inspector Tom McClure said, “ These charges are in relation to searches in the Carnhill area of Derry in December 2016 and May 2017.
“We are committed to tackling illegal drugs and other criminal activities and keeping communities safe.
“I continue to appeal to members of the public to come forward with any information about the supply or use of illegal drugs or criminal activity.
