POLICE are jubilant after arresting two males and taking two more dangerous scramblers off the roads in Derry.

A third male who took to his heels when police turned up today.

But police say they know who is and have told him: Hand yourself in.

PSNI Foyle said on its Facebook page: “Hands up if you’re sick of motorbikes, scramblers 🏍 and quads tearing about the parks/ estates/ footpaths 🙋‍♂️🙋Us too!

“Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team 👮🏻got a call 📱 about a couple pushing a pram 👶🏻on the black path who were nearly knocked down by lads on scramblers 😤

“We went out in force 💪and boxed them in at Ballyarnett Country Park.

“We got two lads arrested and two bikes seized 👍🏼

“A 3rd managed to get away but we saw him perfectly and have already called at the house 🏡

“He needs to do it the easy way and hand himself in.

“If people want to keep going on with this nonsense then we’ll keep seizing bikes, arresting boys and taking them to Court.”
