POLICE are ready to launch a crackdown on Derry’s ‘wanted’.
And they are warning criminals with a warrant against their name to do the decent thing and hand themselves in before police come knocking on their door.

“Operation Relentless will be targeting people with outstanding warrants,” said a police spokesperson.
“Those attempting to escape justice might find their mugshots in the papers or their faces on our Facebook (like PSNI Craigavon have done).
“We’ll also be running Operations to catch people.
“We had a Pre-Op early start today with a Warrant Operation in the Bogside, the Brandywell, and Foyle Road followed by house searches in the Northern Estates.
“If you know you’re wanted consider this a warning

1. Get in touch with your Solicitor, or
2. Hand yourself in at Court, or
3. Hand yourself in to your local Police Station
