POLICE have put on show a dangerous quad bike officers seized last night while on patrol in Derry’s Shantallow area.

PSNI Foyle said on its Facebook page: “Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team were on patrol earlier and saw this quad flying round the streets and footpaths of Shantallow.

“As you can see one front wheel is missing and the other is busted.

“So clearly someone has lost control and crashed since we last saw it.

“It seems to me that the more this goes on the more likely it is one of these youngsters is going to hurt themselves or hurt someone else.

“We managed to seize this quad after getting out on foot to deal with a group of anti-social young ones.

“Low and behold we found this stashed away nearby.”
