HEARTLESS THIEVES STEAL CHARITY BOXES IN BURGLARY AT PETROL STATION

POLICE are investigating a burglary at petrol station during which a number of needy charity boxes were stolen.

The incident happened at Riverside Service Station, Castlederg in the early hours of Saturday morning, April 22.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who noticed a dark coloured vehicle at the premises at approximately 5 am.

A police spokesperson said: “A cash register was stolen as well as a substantial amount of cigarettes.

“Two  charity boxes, which were for Chest Heart and Stroke and Friends Of Kenya.

“Please contact us on 101 quoting reference 317 22/4/17 if you have information which may assist enquiries.”
