EVEN at Easter burglars don’t take a break.

So the PSNI in Foyle are advising home owners across the city to keep the burglars out this holiday weekend and make sure their properties are secure.

A spokesperson said: “If you are planning on going away for the Easter break, please make sure you secure your home before you leave.

“Remember to close and lock all windows and doors, including your garage,

“Think about installing a home security system and security lighting.

“Cancel milk and paper deliveries and store valuables out of sight.

“Ask a friend or neighbour to check your home, lift your post, mow your lawn and bring in your bin so your house appears occupied.

“Always report suspicious activity to us on 101, or 999 in an emergency.
