Tattoo by Apache Tattoo and Art Studio based in Waterside
A PARENT never gets over the loss a child.
So in a lasting tribute to Jack Glenn, still grieving dad Colin has had a tattoo of his sckon’s face forever inscribed on his body – right beside his heart.
Jack went missing in February at the Foyle Bridge in Derry.
His remains were recovered by rescue volunteers on March 27 some seven and a half weeks after he entered the water.
His funeral took place at Ebrington Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 1 and hundreds of people turned out to pay their respects to Jack.
Waterside-based Apache Art and Tattoo Studio have posted a picture of the tattoo of Jack they did on his dad’s chest.
It is such an amazing likeness to Jack who is so sadly missed by his family and friends.
“Was an honour and a privilege to get to do this onColin Glenn today…. but it saddens me that we’ve became acquainted under such circumstances.
“Thank you for choosing me as the artist, and trusting me to do such a sentimental piece.
“Now you have Jack close to your heart forever……
“I hope this helps with the healing process….. — with Colin Glenn at Apache Tattoo & Art Studio.”

Much loved and much missed Jack Glenn
