THE Fire and Rescue Service are reminding all householders across Derry to carry out a simple action today – test your smoke alarm.
“Don’t forget to #TestItTuesday,” said a spokesperson.
“Smoke alarms alert you to earliest stage of a fire and give you vital extra time to escape #STOPfire.”
That simple action could save your life and that of your family.
It will only take a few seconds to carry but could add years to your life.
