POLICE have released the name of the woman who died following a two vehicle collision in Co Derry on Saturday.
She was 74-year-old Alice Smyle who was from the Ballymena area.
The crash happened on the Hillhead Road near Castledawson just after 10.40 am.
Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision which occurred near the Creagh Road and involved a red Kia Soul and a black Mazda.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact officers at Magherafelt Police Station or the Collision Investigation Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 434 of 11/02/17.
