THUMBS UP….Chrissy McKaigue’s side take a four point lead in at the interval against Kilcoo

SLAUGHNEIL have one hand on the Ulster Club Football Final Championship trophy.

They take a four point lead into the interval at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh (throw in 2.30 pm).

The south Derry made the opening scores going two points up after only a few minutes.

But Kilcoo fought back and on 24 minutes the honours were even at 0-05 to 0-05.

But Slaughtneil showed why they are the well fancied side hitting four points without reply from the Co Down side.

It is all to play for in the second half.

The south Derry club are just half an hour away from making it a treble and go down in the annals of GAA history.
