brandywell-farewellTHE time finally arrived for Derry City to depart the Brandywell so that the new pitch and stadium can be put in place.

As a farewell to the current Brandywell Pitch which we have played on since 1928 we will be holding Derry City’s final ever game in the Brandywell this Sunday November 27 (KO 1 pm).

The match will be Ex-Players versus Ex-Players with the likes of Liam Coyle, Felix Healy, Tony O’Doherty, Noel King, Pascal Vaudequin, Jack Keay, Barry Molloy, Kevin O’Neill, Clive Delaney, Ruaidhri Higgins, Paul ‘Oxo’ McLaughlin, Sean Hargan, Eamon Doherty, Paul Hegarty, Gary Beckett, Kevin Deery, Paddy McLaughlin and a host more.

Although it will be free entry we will be asking people to make a donation in which the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Derry City say everyone is more than welcome to attend this match and if any ex player is interested in playing please get in contact with the club.

A club spokesperson said: “It is one more chance to get the Brandywell Rocking!”
