SINN Fein councillor Mickey Cooper has appealeed for information over the attempted robbery of Park Avenue Post Office in Derry’s Rosemount area.
“Sadly this is not the first business in the area to have been targeted in recent years,” said Cllr Cooper.
“There is only so much the owners of such premises can do to protect staff and their businesses against these criminals preying on our communities.
“I would urge anyone with information on this attempted robbery to contact the police.”
