new-stena-boatSTENA Line is encouraging families to make the most of their half-term break by spending it at one of the UK’s biggest theme parks.

Tickets to Alton Towers Resort or LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort can be booked together with hotel and ferry travel in one easy step and those looking for a frightfully fun half-term can take advantage of the special Halloween events taking place.

These great value breaks start from only £459 for a family of four and include return ferry crossing from Belfast or Dublin plus a car, 2 nights in a choice of 3 or 4 star hotels for 2 adults and 2 children and a one day pass to Alton Towers Resort or LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort.

Stena Line’s Ian Baillie believes that the company’s Theme Park breaks offer families an accessible and affordable way to experience some of the best family resorts in Britain.

“Stena Line has put together a range of breaks that are perfect for a fun get away this half-term as well as being very affordable for families. We have taken all the hassle out of booking your break by including ferry travel, accommodation and entry to the theme parks within our breaks.”

Alton Towers Resort

From only £459, families can experience spooky fun and terrifying frights at the annual Scarefest which returns to Alton Towers Resort on 8, 9, 15, 16 and 21-31 October. Those who are brave enough can dare to experience the fun in the dark with selected rides and attractions open until late, alongside the return of the terrifying scare-mazes.

For brave young visitors to Alton Towers there is Franklyn’s Freaky Fun Zone which is a colourful play land filled with spooky attractions and activities. With many spine-tingling attractions open until 9pm, there are lots of Halloween horrors for everyone to enjoy.

LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort

Meanwhile at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, the hugely popular Brick or Treat season returns with Frankie the Friendly Monster, Lord Vampyre and Orange Brick on hand to provide frights from October 17 to November 5 and a family of four can enjoy this memorable break from only £475.

As well as meet and greets with Frankie and co., guests can get stuck into a range of themed LEGO® builds, solve a spooky quiz trail and show off their best costumes in the daily fancy dress competition, not to mention the many popular attractions the resort has to offer, including Land of the Vikings, Knights Kingdom, Heartlake City, Kingdom of the Pharaohs, and many more!
