dovehouseDETECTIVES are investigating a motive a petrol bomb attack on a resource the Derry’s Bogside last night.

It was the second time in 48 hours that Dove House was targeted by petrol bombers in the space of 48 hours.

Local Sinn Fein councillor Patricia Logue has hit out at those behind the attacks.

“It’s very sad that I am once again having to comment on an attack on Dove House, the second in less than 48 hours,” said Cllr Logue.

“As well as attacking this vital community building those responsible have also put the lives of people living in the vicinity in danger.

“I am making it clear to those responsible that the community does not want this, and those behind it need to stop,” she added.

Recently Dove House was attacked with paint and the escalation to petrol bomb is now being seen as a campaign of intimidation by those behind the attacks.
