DERRY City travel to Bohemians tonight, Friday, August 19, (KO 7.45 pm) with a place in the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup quarter-final up for grabs.

Spanish centre-back Cristian Castells is available after joining the Candy Stripes until the end of the 2016.

But Ryan McBride and fellow defender Aaron Barry miss out.

Manager Kenny Shiels admits he wants to keep Derry’s good FAI Cup tradition going.

“Derry have always had good runs in the cup and I want to continue that. They have had really good success and we want to keep that tradition moving,” he said.

“Ryan and Aaron are both out for definite and there’s no way they’ll play; we have niggles here and there, but that’s the usual stuff and we’ll see how things are before the game.

“Cristian Castells is available so we have to see if he’s ready or not and we have to make a decision on that.”

Tonight’s tie will be live on both BBC Radio Foyle (93.1FM) and Drive 105.3FM’s Match Night Live team, from 7.30pm.

In the event of a replay that has been scheduled for the Brandywell on Monday, August 22 (KO 7.45 pm).
