POLICE say the road accident on the M2 has now been cleared.
It followed an earlier crash near the Bellevue Bridge.
The PSNI had been advising motorists to leave the M2 at Fortwilliam or Greencastle.
But although the accident has been cleared, commuters are facing lengthy delays getting home to Derry.
Long delays remain back to York Street onto Westlink and M3.
There are also delays on Dunbar Link and York Street towards the M2.
Motorists have described the area as resembling a “car park”.
