AS excitement builds towards the kick off for the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland teams in the European Championships, Derry City and Strabane District Council is encouraging the public to ditch the TV in favour of getting out and getting active and using some of its many soccer facilities across the Council area.
There are currently spaces available during the week and at the week-ends for Bishop’s Field Outdoor 3G pitch.
A council spokesperson said: “It is an excellent facility offering very competitive rates for groups and individuals and members of the public wishing to book the Creggan based facility for sports events can do so by contacting the Centre directly at 028 71 372194.
