DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING SEVEN BURGLARIES AT DERRY HEALTH CARE PREMISES

Police crime scene picPOLICE at Strand Road are investigating a spate of burglaries at health care premises in the Chapel Road of the Waterside.

Seven burglaries have been reported in the past six weeks.

The most recent break in was on Wednesday, March 23 and each time the thieves have forced their way and carried out wanton damage to the premise.

Several items have also been taken by the burglars.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Neill said police were carrying out enquiries.

He has appealed for anyone with any information to contact them at Strand Road on 101.

Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on freephone 0800 555 111.
