And in a beautiful gesture, she immediately donated a sizeable chunk of her winnings to the Buncrana Tragedy Fund.

The 13 year-old was presented with her award and cheque by Mr. McGuinness and was accompanied by proud parents, John and Alice.

Picking up on the wonderful gesture, show producer Oliver Green praised the young musician/singer.

‘What a wonderful young lady and an example to all in making a sizeable donation to the Buncrana Tragedy Fund from her winnings.

“Her parents should indeed be proud, not just of her singing and musical skills but her kindness and thoughtfulness.’

Amy performed for the Deputy First Minister and received a rapturous applause from all in attendance.

The final will be screened by Irishtv this Friday, April 15 at 7pm.

It can be viewed on Sky channel 191.
