strand-road-polie-station-derry-google-1-1-400x240-20131121-132010-438-1SIX teenage boys arrested following reports of people on the roof of a school in Derry yesterday have now been released.

The school is on Trench Road, in the Waterside area of the city.

The boys, aged between 13 and 17, were being questioned at Strand Road police station about a number of offences, including criminal damage.

They have now been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Last week, fire fighters saved Holy Child primary school from being burned to the ground at Central Drive in the Creggan.

Two 10-year-old boys and an 11-year-old girl were later interviewed by police investigating the arson attack.

They have been reported to the Youth Diversion Officer.
