THE PSNI have carried out is being described as a major drugs operation in Derry.
Six searches were carried out in the Shantallow and Galliagh areas yesterday under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.
Police say a number of items were seized for forensic examination.
This included a small quantity of herbal cannabis and ancillary drugs items.
There were no arrests and police inquiries are continuing into the supply of drugs in Shantallow and Galliagh.
