DETECTIVES in Derry are on the trail of burglars following a number of break-ins in the same part of the city over the weekend.
Police say that a house at Primrose Street in the Waterside area was entered through an open upstairs window on Saturday afternoon.
A black Playstation games console and a white laptop were stolen.
A house at Chapel Road was burgled through a rear window sometime between Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon.
The thieves made off with two televisions and a microwave oven.
Detectives have appealed for anyone with information about the thieves to contact them on the non-emergency 101 number.
